Here are some of my photos

On this page you can find one thing I’m absolutely the most passionate about: photography. Thoughout my journey through the world I capture (or at least I try to) the most amazing photos to share with you! Over here is where I post photos, with a description of the photo and what I learned while taking it.

On a nice summer day I went out and took some shots in my garden. Tried to play with a lot of bokeh for the first time, and it turned out pretty cool in my opinion. The leading lines make the pear stand out even more.

On a holiday to the Scotland we hiked the highest mountain in the UK: the Ben Nevis. At the base of the mountain I took this photo. Not the greatest looking back, but at the time I thought it was. At the end of the trip, right before we broarded the boat back to mainland Europe, we went up the cliffs in Dover. From there we had an amazing view of the port.

Shortly after my trip to Germany I went on a trip to New York. The 9/11 memorial we visited was impressive. Approaching the tower pools, I saw this rose on the memorial and decided to take a photo. This is actually my most viewed photo I’ve taken so far. You can download it for free on my Pexels profile.

Almost a year later, I was traveling through the south of Germany with a mate. These photos are taken around Castle Neuschwanstein. The actual castle the Disney castle is based upon. The one I struggled the most with is the one on the bottom left. There was an extremely red moon going on that night. So I wanted to take that opportunity and get a nice photo. But I didn’t have my tripod on me. So I used a fence to stabilize my camera. So that day I learned to never forget to take your tripod on a holiday. Also I didn’t really know anyting about editing back then, so the right ones are edited later in my journey.

It all started with my passion for cars. I went to a few, so called, trackdays on populair circuits here in The Netherlands and the Nürburgring GP. Back then I was taking photos with my dads old Nikon D80, with the Sigma 70-200 2.8 lens. I was mostly trying to get panning shots, capturing the speed of the cars.
